I am now 68 and have been in the construction industry for some 50 years and completed a 5 year apprenticeship in the plumbing & heating industry. In those days we had to carryout a number of trade skills such as bricklaying, plastering, leadwork. electrics, ground work for drainage, and carpentry; all trades which i have used over the years.

I progressed my career through to servicing of boilers, troubleshooting etc and completed many manufacturers courses and went on to system design and estimating. I then joined a company converting barns, watermills and new build constructions as contracts manager and went on to do a contract law course. Over the last 20 years I returned to being self employed carrying out small works such as extensions, heating & plumbing, etc. I was corgi registered and a member of the H.V.C.A. and a member of the institute of plumbing.

Over the last 12 years i have worked with companys such as Twyford Bathrooms, Mira showers, Intec, & Optatus, as a troubleshooter travelling all over the UK solving problems on site and helping with product development. I have also been at several trade shows on the stands at the N.E.C. for these manufacturers talking to tradesmen, contractors, architects etc.
